Jeff and his team recently completed a screened porch and deck project for us and we couldn’t be happier with the result! Jeff was great to work with through every phase of the project – from providing us with a timely quote, to partnering with us to design the detailed plans and to quickly answering all of our (many!) questions before, during and after construction along with constantly keeping us updated on status and schedule. Jeff’s team with Ben and crew did great work and were very professional and efficient and kept the work area clean/organized, and we had similar experiences with the other teams involved in the project (Rob the electrician in particular was great). Would recommend Charlotte Decks and Porches to anyone!

Jeff and his team (ps my husband says Ben is the man!!) did a great job! I've been super impressed with how quickly everything went. This is not how most construction projects go... Typically there is a lot of sitting and waiting for progress. But not in my experience in working with Charlotte Decks and Porches.... They were seasoned pros! Everything was like clockwork and perfectly choreographed. Very satisfied with the end result and grateful to have partnered with Jeff for my outdoor reno needs. I'm happy to refer anyone to them and recommend their work. Thank you!

From the quoting process to building, Jeff and his team went above and beyond to ensure all questions were answered and concerns were alleviated. I reached out and Jeff told me they don’t service my address.. in Charlotte. The website even says “south Charlotte” where I live. I told Jeff that was odd and recommended that they should probably change their companies name. This was his response...Thanks for the awesome business advice. I’mthe one guy that runs around to do every estimate for this company and get a hundred requests a week. Let me know how that works mathematically. I mapped your address and it was 35min away. My cutoff is a 30min drive. Most people just thank me for at least having the courtesy to respond. Go talk down to somebody else- I don’t put up with it.Coming from a customer service background, this is pretty bad. I simply searched for this company on google and put a request in... all you have to say is “hey we are pretty booked up blah blah blah we can try to get you on a schedule at some point”

We can't thank Jeff and his team at Charlotte Decks and Porches enough for our beautiful screened porch! Every aspect of the construction work was completed without issue and in a timely manner. Even with a few wet days and the winter holidays, our project was completed as promised. It was so nice to have a contractor who really did handle EVERY detail and made us comfortable with construction project from start to finish. We loved the fact that there was progress being made on project daily ... no long waits or interruptions once the work started. Jeff's team is friendly, reliable, and they cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. We 100% feel like we picked the right team for our project and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a new deck or porch. Thanks Jeff, we're ready for Spring!!

This is the fourth renovation project we have completed since we bought our house in 2013 and this was by far the best experience. We can not thank Jeff and his team enough. From the initial estimate all the way through the final punch, Jeff and staff were always punctual showing up right at the specified time. Once permits were in place construction seemed to fly by. Staff always cleaned up and respected our home which was nice given the fact that we have young children (no spare nails or power tools ever left behind). And most importantly the final product was absolutely stunning of the highest quality. My wife and I could not be happier.

Charlotte Decks and Porches surpassed our expectations in every way.Trustworthy Timeline. The crew began work on our project on the exact day that Jeff indicated. He said the screen porch would take six weeks to complete and (despite a stretch of rainy weather) it took six weeks to complete.Communication. Jeff and I sent dozens of emails back and forth throughout the process. We knew the payment schedule, we knew when we had to make decisions (deck material, paint/stain colors, electrical details, etc.), we knew what options were available, we knew when the crew was going to work on a Saturday, we knew when inspectors were coming, we knew when painters were coming. There were no surprises.Quality of Work. The crew paid attention to every detail and built an impressive structure. They worked deliberately and they took pride in their work. They were experienced and professional.Value. The overall cost was very similar to other quotes that we received. With the exception of extra charges for skylights and speakers that we added mid-project, the final price matched the initial quote exactly.Charlotte Decks and Porches is the right choice for any screen porch project in the Charlotte area.

Jeff's entire team was so professional. They were very tidy and worked very efficiently. We received another bid from a large decking contractor and they were more expensive without the bells and whistles that my wife and I wanted. We used Charlotte Decks based on seeing a beautiful closed in porch they were working on in the neighborhood and we not disappointed. Jeff and his team had great communication, delivered as promised and did excellent work on our own 3 season closed in deck which is perfect for this region. I have to say this has been the best experience with a builder and also the best purchase we have made since being homeowners. We have an outdoor oasis that makes me smile everything I sit down and relax on the deck, so recommending Charlotte Decks and porches is easy to do. They deliver beauty and quality to our home!

We had a great experience with Jeff and team and would recommend them to everyone. We had them build a screen porch for us. It is rare when you can say that everything went according to plan, but it did. Jeff was honest and transparent and we had zero surprises throughout the entire process. The build is high quality and no short cuts were taken. We are extremely happy with our new screen porch and have already spent a lot of time out there, even with the weather cooling down (thanks to the heaters!).

Jeff and his crew did an excellent job adding a two-tiered deck, patio, 2 pergolas, and a covered porch to the back of our home. We had some complex design and architectural issues to solve, and Jeff was able to pull it all together into a very attractive outdoor living area at a price much less than the quotes we received from others. Highly recommend.

Jeff (owner) gave us a quote and a time frame and he was spot on. The only things that changed in his quote were things that we added on after the fact, and the job was done when he said they’d be done (without cutting corners and despite some weather challenges). This crew was the most impressive and professional crew we've ever worked with. They cleaned up the job site every day before leaving; they had materials delivered as needed so we didn't have our property or driveway obstructed for long periods of time; they were polite, easy to communicate with, and very respectful. Jeff was on site just about every day to check on the progress and to check in with us. He was very responsive to emails and stayed on top of any concerns we may have had. Even his sub-contractors were great (painters, electricians, gutters, etc.) and Jeff made sure that their work was top quality from beginning to end. We are beyond pleased with the look and craftsmanship of our deck! I cannot say enough about how impressed we are with Charlotte Decks and Porches, and we would recommend them to anyone.
