We used Charlotte Decks based on seeing a beautiful closed in porch they were working on in the neighborhood and we not disappointed. Jeff and his team had great communication, delivered as promised and did excellent work on our own 3 season closed in deck which is perfect for this region. I have to say this has been the best experience with a builder and also the best purchase we have made since being homeowners. Charlotte Decks and Porches surpassed our expectations in every way.Trustworthy Timeline. The crew began work on our project on the exact day that Jeff indicated. He said the screen porch would take six weeks to complete and (despite a stretch of rainy weather) it took six weeks to complete.Communication. Jeff and I sent dozens of emails back and forth throughout the process. We knew the payment schedule, we knew when we had to make decisions (deck material, paint/stain colors, electrical details, etc.), we knew what options were available, we knew when the crew was going to work on a Saturday, we knew when inspectors were coming, we knew when painters were coming. There were no surprises.Quality of Work. The crew paid attention to every detail and built an impressive structure. They worked deliberately and they took pride in their work. They were experienced and professional.Value. The overall cost was very similar to other quotes that we received. With the exception of extra charges for skylights and speakers that we added mid-project, the final price matched the initial quote exactly.Charlotte Decks and Porches is the right choice for any screen porch project in the Charlotte area.

After a long search, my husband and I chose Charlotte Decks and Porches to replace our old deck with a bigger deck with a roof. (See before and after pictures below.) Jeff (owner) gave us a quote and a time frame and he was spot on. The only things that changed in his quote were things that we added on after the fact, and the job was done when he said they’d be done (without cutting corners and despite some weather challenges). This crew was the most impressive and professional crew we've ever worked with. They cleaned up the job site every day before leaving; they had materials delivered as needed so we didn't have our property or driveway obstructed for long periods of time; they were polite, easy to communicate with, and very respectful. Jeff was on site just about every day to check on the progress and to check in with us. He was very responsive to emails and stayed on top of any concerns we may have had. Even his sub-contractors were great (painters, electricians, gutters, etc.) and Jeff made sure that their work was top quality from beginning to end. We are beyond pleased with the look and craftsmanship of our deck! I cannot say enough about how impressed we are with Charlotte Decks and Porches, and we would recommend them to anyone.

This is the fourth renovation project we have completed since we bought our house in 2013 and this was by far the best experience. We can not thank Jeff and his team enough. One of The Most Prominent Suburbs in Charlotte, North Carolina

Weddington is a town located in Union County, North Carolina, about 15 miles southeast of Charlotte and 14 miles northwest of Monroe. According to the 2010 Census, the town’s population was 9.459, counting 2.772 households and 2.561 families. It is one of the most prominent suburbs of Charlotte, with a small portion of it extending into the Mecklenburg County. Weddington is almost completely made up of single-family homes situated on one-acre lots.

The town spreads over a generous area of 15.9 square miles, of which 15.8 square miles are land, and 0.1 square miles is water. It also has a commercial area, referred to as the Town Center, where residents can spend leisure time as well as carry on daily activities. Weddington’s Town Hall is located in a beautiful historic home, dating back to 1894.

As far as suitableness for families, the neighborhood features three elementary schools (Weddington, Antioch, and Rea View), one middle school (Weddington) and one high school (Weddington), making it ideal for couples that are looking for a quiet place to start a family. The town also has two civic organizations, WCWAA (an athletic organization for youth) and the Weddington Optimist Club.
