We can't thank Jeff and his team at Charlotte Decks and Porches enough for our beautiful screened porch! Every aspect of the construction work was completed without issue and in a timely manner. Even with a few wet days and the winter holidays, our project was completed as promised. It was so nice to have a contractor who really did handle EVERY detail and made us comfortable with construction project from start to finish. We loved the fact that there was progress being made on project daily ... no long waits or interruptions once the work started. Jeff's team is friendly, reliable, and they cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. After a long search, my husband and I chose Charlotte Decks and Porches to replace our old deck with a bigger deck with a roof. (See before and after pictures below.) Jeff (owner) gave us a quote and a time frame and he was spot on. The only things that changed in his quote were things that we added on after the fact, and the job was done when he said they’d be done (without cutting corners and despite some weather challenges). This crew was the most impressive and professional crew we've ever worked with. They cleaned up the job site every day before leaving; they had materials delivered as needed so we didn't have our property or driveway obstructed for long periods of time; they were polite, easy to communicate with, and very respectful. Jeff was on site just about every day to check on the progress and to check in with us. He was very responsive to emails and stayed on top of any concerns we may have had. Even his sub-contractors were great (painters, electricians, gutters, etc.) and Jeff made sure that their work was top quality from beginning to end. We are beyond pleased with the look and craftsmanship of our deck! I cannot say enough about how impressed we are with Charlotte Decks and Porches, and we would recommend them to anyone.

Charlotte Decks and Porches surpassed our expectations in every way.Trustworthy Timeline. The crew began work on our project on the exact day that Jeff indicated. He said the screen porch would take six weeks to complete and (despite a stretch of rainy weather) it took six weeks to complete.Communication. Jeff and I sent dozens of emails back and forth throughout the process. We knew the payment schedule, we knew when we had to make decisions (deck material, paint/stain colors, electrical details, etc.), we knew what options were available, we knew when the crew was going to work on a Saturday, we knew when inspectors were coming, we knew when painters were coming. There were no surprises.Quality of Work. The crew paid attention to every detail and built an impressive structure. They worked deliberately and they took pride in their work. They were experienced and professional.Value. The overall cost was very similar to other quotes that we received. Well-known for its 100-year old Tree

Myers Park is a neighborhood in Charlotte City, North Carolina, surrounded by Dilworth and Sedgefield to the west, Eastover neighborhood to the east, Charlotte city center to the north and South Park and Foxcroft neighborhoods to the south. The original boundaries of the blocks coincided with the ones of the John Spring Myers farm, spread over 1220 acres. However, in 2008, the neighborhood was already spreading over 2200 acres and had a population of 9809 residents.

The neighborhood is well-known for its amazing 100-year old tree, as well as for the picturesque streets boasting mansions built in Colonial and Tudor Revival styles, which give the entire area an elegant, timeless charm and glamour. The magnificent tree perfectly complements this chic area and all the beautiful gardens of the mansions. However, nothing in the neighborhood is here by accident – every detail was carefully thought out by John Spring Myers, who back in the 1950s wanted to turn the cotton farmland into Charlotte’s first suburb. Myers managed to transform his vision into reality and developed this residential area, perfect for students, families, and young couples.
