We used Charlotte Decks and Porches to tear down our existing wooden deck and replace it with composite decking and an Eze Breeze screened-in porch. His team showed up on time and everything was professional quality. He was very responsive to any questions we had throughout the entire project. We've been enjoying our new deck and porch over the last month and it has been an amazing addition to our home. I would highly recommend Jeff and his team!

Jeff, the owner, responded quickly and gave us a very reasonable quote. He worked with us to create exactly what we wanted, offered helpful suggestions and was flexible when we requested last minute changes. Jeff and his team recently completed a screened porch and deck project for us and we couldn’t be happier with the result! Jeff was great to work with through every phase of the project – from providing us with a timely quote, to partnering with us to design the detailed plans and to quickly answering all of our (many!) questions before, during and after construction along with constantly keeping us updated on status and schedule. Typically there is a lot of sitting and waiting for progress. But not in my experience in working with Charlotte Decks and Porches.... They were seasoned pros! I reached out and Jeff told me they don’t service my address.. in Charlotte. The website even says “south Charlotte” where I live. I told Jeff that was odd and recommended that they should probably change their companies name. This was his response...Thanks for the awesome business advice. I’mthe one guy that runs around to do every estimate for this company and get a hundred requests a week. Let me know how that works mathematically. I mapped your address and it was 35min away. My cutoff is a 30min drive. Most people just thank me for at least having the courtesy to respond. Go talk down to somebody else- I don’t put up with it.Coming from a customer service background, this is pretty bad. I simply searched for this company on google and put a request in... all you have to say is “hey we are pretty booked up blah blah blah we can try to get you on a schedule at some point”

We can't thank Jeff and his team at Charlotte Decks and Porches enough for our beautiful screened porch! Every aspect of the construction work was completed without issue and in a timely manner. Even with a few wet days and the winter holidays, our project was completed as promised. It was so nice to have a contractor who really did handle EVERY detail and made us comfortable with construction project from start to finish. We loved the fact that there was progress being made on project daily ... no long waits or interruptions once the work started. This is the fourth renovation project we have completed since we bought our house in 2013 and this was by far the best experience. We can not thank Jeff and his team enough. From the initial estimate all the way through the final punch, Jeff and staff were always punctual showing up right at the specified time. Once permits were in place construction seemed to fly by. Staff always cleaned up and respected our home which was nice given the fact that we have young children (no spare nails or power tools ever left behind). And most importantly the final product was absolutely stunning of the highest quality. My wife and I could not be happier.

Charlotte Decks and Porches surpassed our expectations in every way.Trustworthy Timeline. The crew began work on our project on the exact day that Jeff indicated. He said the screen porch would take six weeks to complete and (despite a stretch of rainy weather) it took six weeks to complete.Communication. Jeff and I sent dozens of emails back and forth throughout the process. We knew the payment schedule, we knew when we had to make decisions (deck material, paint/stain colors, electrical details, etc.), we knew what options were available, we knew when the crew was going to work on a Saturday, we knew when inspectors were coming, we knew when painters were coming. There were no surprises.Quality of Work. The crew paid attention to every detail and built an impressive structure. They worked deliberately and they took pride in their work. They were experienced and professional.Value. The overall cost was very similar to other quotes that we received. With the exception of extra charges for skylights and speakers that we added mid-project, the final price matched the initial quote exactly.Charlotte Decks and Porches is the right choice for any screen porch project in the Charlotte area.

It is rare when you can say that everything went according to plan, but it did. Jeff was honest and transparent and we had zero surprises throughout the entire process. The build is high quality and no short cuts were taken. Jeff and his crew did an excellent job adding a two-tiered deck, patio, 2 pergolas, and a covered porch to the back of our home.
